Catholic Women’s League is an organisation that has several levels of involvement: Parish, Local community, State, National and International.

International participation is through the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organisations (WUCWO) whose representatives have a voice at the United Nations.
We seek to promote understanding of our faith and fellowship and friendship with all our members, through participation at Branch meetings, fundraising for worthwhile causes in our Parish and Diocese and also overseas at times.

We have opportunities for Retreat Days, celebration of Mass on special days such as the feast day of St Mary MacKillop, St Maria Goretti, Mass for the unborn and others during each year.

CWL has an ecumenical role in our community. We visit and celebrate various occasions with other Churches (Anglican and Uniting) in our area, as well as inviting them to join us as well, for example World Day of Prayer which is held in a different Church in the area every year.

We also have social events with just our own Branch members, a few times each year.
